Personality: Kurai is often very distant and keeps a fake smile on her face for her villagers. She's often alone, dismissing her guards to just sit alone and practice her control of the Gobi

Bio: Kurai is the daughter of Kazuku and Aoi Niwa. Her clan was savagely murdered by an unknown source when she was 7 and ever since then she has been trying to find out who or what killed her clan. The only way she survived was her brother Satoshi hiding her in the bushes outside while he was being slaughtered himself. He gave her life to protect her and she mourns him every day. She easily passed the Genin exams, studying and practicing day in and day out. She was placed in a team with 2 people who she got along with moderately well but did prefer to operate alone. She trained long and hard every single day, completing every mission brought forth to her with precision and determination. She was soon entered for the chuunin exams with the rest of her squad but the day before she was kidnapped by some shady figures. In an attempt to make him unable to participate in the chuunin exams, therefore boosting their own villages chances of getting new chuunin, they sealed the 5 tailed bijuu, Gobi no Houkou, inside her in an attempt to make her comatose from the ammount of chakra surging through her. However, it didnt work. She managed to cope with the demand of chakra reasonably well and went on to fight the next day. She went up against ninja from the Mist, Sand, Sound, Rain and any other village that was participating. She took them down, but narrowly. She proceeded to become Chuunin and from then on worked completely alone. She then advanced to jonin after a year and then went from ANBU and eventually was offered the position as Hokage. She now watches over the village, determined to protect her home from the threat that killed her clan, and destroyed her chance of happiness.
